For those who believe in learning and living, each year brings along a fresh lease of life. It comes with a chance to attain what you could n’t and live to the fullest as parents.
Parenting has taught me some noble lessons of life in a beautiful way.
And, here are some of them:
1. Pray: Believe in the power of prayer. It never goes unheard.
2. Life is beautiful at every stage. Enjoy it, considering it shall never return.
3. Adore your parents. They offer the best they’ve ever had. Spend some time with them before its too late to repent.
4. Family first, rest falls later. Take care of them, nurture them and accept each
member’s behavior with gratitude.
5. Do not allow negative energies to snatch your peace of mind. Time takes its turn and proves your rightfulness to others.
6. Health care: Take care of your health. You can take of others only when you healthy. So, spare some time all for yourself to recharge, refuel and re-energise self to take care of others.
7. Organise: Life is full of responsibilities. Organise yourself to match up to the expectations.
8. Manage money well. Save it, invest it and spend it wisely. After all, you work for money
at first. The better you manage your investments better you would be at peace when you
grow old.
9.Cherish parenthood. There all scores of people who wish they could.
10. Be thankful to God for whatever you have.
11. A positive mindset is the greatest source of energy to turn the tide in your favor.
12. The more you invest in growing your knowledge, the more you grow professionally and
personally.
13. You cannot do everything on your own. Outsource lesser important tasks to others.
14. Lessen your expectations and standards when it comes to organising home and things around, with infants/ toddlers. Focus on their nurturing instead.
15. Always prioritise your tasks. Do what is important first, rest can be done later or by someone else.
16. Take pain to care for your child. Shortcuts does not yield return always.
17. Talk less, do more.
18. Curtail mobile and tv watching time.
19. Take care to feed yourself and family a balanced diet, seasonal dishes, and nutritious food. After all, health is wealth.
20. Drink more water.
21. Nurture a dream always. Pursue it, chase until you achieve it. Once done, set another goal.
